Welcome Class of 2011!  

The class of 2011 is preparing to arrive.  The Class of 2011 will be among the strongest academic classes ever.  Last year's class entered Virginia Tech with an average SAT score of 1232 and a 3.76 GPA, based on preliminary reports this year's class will be even stronger.  The Army Department is excited to work with each of them over the next four years as they pursue a commission in the U.S. Army.  This web page contains information to assist incoming students enrolling into Army ROTC.  

If you are undecided on enrollment into Army ROTC program stop by and we will do our best to answer all your questions. The Army ROTC program participates in the universities Fall and Spring Open House Sessions and is often co-located with Virginia Tech at some of the Largest College Fairs.  During the Open House Army ROTC, the other ROTC programs and the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets will hold an hour long presentation and question and answer session.  A information booth manned by cadets is set-up in Burruss Hall during each open house date.  As always cadets may take Army ROTC for two full years with no commitment whatsoever.  At the very least Army ROTC class is one more class on your schedule that will provide you credits toward your leadership minor and your Virginia Tech degree.
